See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @jpphotography with the following entry:

The Razorback, Great Ocean Road, Australia. The Great Ocean Road is full of incredible rock formations. This one has adequately been named "The Razorback". This viewpoint was a great stop on my cycling trip along the famous road.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Puerto de la Cruz is a city and municipality in the northern part of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is located on the north coast, 4 km northwest of La Orotava. Tourism is an important industry in Puerto de la Cruz, as evidenced by the number of large hotels visible on the skyline.

Peaceful landscape (and seascape) of the Punta Coco Beach on the Holbox Island, one of true hidden gems Mexico. Meaning "the black hole" in the old Mayan language (because of one of its lagoons with a dark bottom), Holbox is an elongated island found off the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.

Dark Clouds over New Zealand Beach

I don't remember on which of New Zealand's countless beaches I took this shot, but I believe it was somewhere on the North Island's West Coast. Despite the dark clouds in this photo, I was lucky to have almost no rain during seven weeks in this beautiful country.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

This beautiful bay is known as Chichirivichi de la Costa, it is located in the central coast of Venezuela. Traditionally there has been a village of fishermen. In the lasts decades it has been a place for scuba-diving practice.

Winter sleep

Early and bloody cold winter morning at the aquatory of the port of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Baltic sea is generally stay pretty warm during winter and port is counted to be ice free. The combination of very cold air and still quite warm water surface brings some kind of light fog and very nice soft colors of sunrises.
I just was on the way to visit the vessel presently discharging (or loading) and made this shot just with small system camera

Enjoy it!

Cuba is a beautiful place to relax. The blue sea, the hot sun, the white sand, the waves…
My favorite moment is when I have the sea to myself. In our busy modern lives, it is rare to be alone so when I have the chance, I enjoy it a lot.
