The Basilica Cathedral of Lima at night, it is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the Plaza Mayor in Lima, Peru

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Please make sure to add a proper descritpion to your entry as this was the reason on few occasionas when I could not pick the best image as it had a very poor description. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans, African Wednesday, European Thursday and North American Friday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

@justdentist Asian Sunday entry:

It's sunday again. Today want to share with you another picture of the Guilin Fisherman. Back in the days they were real cormorant fisherman. Nowadays they work as models for tourists 😜 The riverbed of the Liang River and the famous Karst landscape mountains in the background.

@karolisp Australian Monday entry:

All paths lead to Arthur's Pass

This was taken on our casual 30+km hike around the amazing Arthur's Pass in New Zealand. We started to feel some kind weird vibration/noise and saw that a train is coming behind us, it was really sneaky.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans week #8 – winner announcement!

@theaustrianguy Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

If you say ocean you have to like this view of a sundown as seen from a small fishing boat in front of the French coast. It's amazing how the water reflects the colours - just a magical moment!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #8 – winner announcement!

@extremejogging African Wednesday entry:

Not many people will ever witness this epic view... starting 20km from the closest town, I ran 18km in scorching heat to the top of the Keiskie mountain in the semi-desert region of the Hantam, South Africa, to take this photo.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #8 – winner announcement!

@nenio European Thursday entry:

This photo was taken at Trieste port. Part of the city with its hills can be seen and the image it is framed by the ship, which gives an interesting composition. Trieste is in Italy but it has strong Austrian influence this can be noticed by the architecture of the city.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #8 – winner announcement!

@thesloopjohnb North American Friday entry:

My submission is from the White Sands National Monument near Alamogordo, New Mexico. This out-of-the-way park sits on a giant dried up lake. This national park shares a border with the White Sands Missile Range, which houses the "Trinity Site" where the first atomic bomb was detonated. It also used to be the back-up landing site for the Space Shuttle.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

I wish I had more information on this photo but it's so old (2009) that I don't remember much about it. This was taken outside of Bariloche, Argentina. I always thought that was just a bridge, but after a little research I realized those are train tracks. This is a beautiful part of the world. I actually took an overnight bus from Santiago, Chile to Bariloche through the mountains and the scenery was incredible. My only regret is not taking more photos!

Capoeira at sunset

Every time I went to Jericoacoara there was a capoeira school training at the beach and they were going full on until the sun went down. Jogo de Capoeira (The game of capoeira) consist of a group making a circle, they are singing and in the circle there are 2 capoeiristas that uses the rhythm of the song to match their fighting style.

This is a view of the El Quimbo hydroelectric dam, located in the Department of Huila in Colombia. The longest bridge in Colombia was built on it, with 1708 meters. Photo made with Lumia phone and edited in lightroom.

Thank you very much.

It was a beautiful and calm sunset in Ilhabella island, Brazil. That green island I will remember because of nice nature and tasty acai which we always ate everytime visiting that place. I liked to spend time there.
