Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Europe.

See the winner of the last week´s European Thursday @rimicane with the following entry:

I have visited Rome only once. It was enough to fall in love with this ancient city! If not the sd card size back in the days, the number of images would exceed all expectations. Let me name some of the architectural landmarks here. On the right, we have got the Tempio di Saturno. In the background, there is a beautiful church dating back to 17th century - Santi Luca e Martina. And then framed between the arches is the Septimius Severus Arch. The view was captured from the perfect spot on top of the Monte Tarpeo street.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

@axeman Asian Sunday entry:

Battle of Gods. Insanely colorful stormy sunset at Tel-Aviv shot in February few years ago. The main beach of Tel-Avis was just splashed by the warm colors of the dawning sun, well mixed with overall cold blue colors
Wide angle lens used to catch most of perspective. Color grading in post-production (LR+PS). Enjoy the scenery :)

@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:

This photo was taken a few years ago during a hike up to Roys Peak near Wanaka in New Zealand. The weather was very dynamic and provided some interesting play of light and shadow. I oped for a black and white here to emphasise those nice contrasts.

@crazy-andy African Wednesday entry:

For today’s African photo there is one of my favorite shots from that continent. I don’t know exactly why, but I simply like it. We can see cohesion of flora and fauna there. Big African elephant walking through the horde of impalas those graze in savannah.

What an unusual design and interesting building! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

Photo of Vienna, showing reflections on the Danube Canal. The photo was taking in summer when the nights are short, in the background of the image there is the illuminated building known as the Uniqa Tower.

You have captured some great atmosphere in your image. Well done.

View of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The yellow fortress is a popular viewpoint in Sarajevo, but when I visited Sarajevo earlier this year, I continued walking until I arrived at the ruins of the white fortress which offers this amazing view over the city!

Amazing shot as always Julian. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas

Together with Segovia and Avila, Toledo is one of three amazing, historical cities that you can reach very fast and easily from Madrid by train, within a day trip. The old town, that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive monumental and cultural heritage, is located on top of a hill, surrounded on three sides by a bend in the Tagus River.

Wow, what an amazing place and image. Great job!

Thank you, Tomas! :-)

Here is an entry from @cendrinemedia for today's contest:

Blois is a beautiful French city on the Loire River. Its castle boasts 30,000 works of art and 564 rooms. It was the residence of seven kings and ten Queens!

Fun historical fact: The first etiquette code and the title of "Your Majesty" were introduced in Blois.

I have placed this entry at the request of @cendrinemedia because she does not have enough power to leave a comment. In this way I hope to be able to help her. So this entry is on behalf of @cendrinemedia.

A very moody atmosphere, which I really like!

Great to see some helping Steemians around. That sure is a great image.

The Ladybirds
It feels these ladybirds have been in Ventspils (Latvia) for ages! Although they have become part of the promenade since 2004, these oldies look fresh and bright every single year! Not only do they add the necessary splash of colour into the old part of town, but they also greet the passengers arriving by ferry to this unique town!

Wow, love those!

Yay, thank you!
