This is one of a beautiful sunrise i had when i was in Gili Trawangan island, a small island near Lombok. No cars, no bike is allowed in this island. But unfortunately we can't go visit the island for a while now, since the earthquake hit Lombok last month. Many building were damaged, and all the people were evacuated from the island for their safety.

The way the light hits the ice in Antarctica can create some pretty unique colours. But when it’s overcast, often the icebergs can come across a beautiful vibrant blue that really stand out against there surroundings.

Picturesque white chapel and panoramic view of the town of Skalica, Slovakia. Home to some 15,000 people, Skalica is located very close to the Czech-Slovak border in the Trnava Region of Slovakia. It is a beautiful historic town with many impressive churches and old buildings.

That looks awesome! Thank you for sharing.

The beautiful shoreline on the West Coast of Scotland is covered in amazing rock formations. These ones are orange and yellow, creating their amazing own landscape, overlooking the outer islands in the distance. The moody atmosphere was an added bonus!

Nice shot @vtravels - the rocks reminds me orange stripes of marble which I saw near the Svartisen glacier here in Norway, maybe they have some similar geological source... who knows... Good luck with the contest!

Thank you so much! I loved the orange marble!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on.

Thank you !

Tenerife (Spain)
Sunset over small resort Puerto de Santiago on Tenerife, which is the largest and most populated island of the seven Canary Islands. Nice place close to the beach called ´playa de los gigantes´ where you can see big rocks around.

You caught that sun just in time. That sure takes some patience!

The view is just splendid!
The sun is slowly setting down behind the hills and the sky turns into fire.
Spain is the a very good place to relax under the warm weather while sipping on a cold beer as you are witnessing Nature's beauty!

Truly spectacular image. Well done!

Photo taken near Perast Town in Montenegro.
As always I'm lucky if goes about couds and light during the sunset :).
I've spend in Montenegro around two weeks and one of mine day trip's goal was to travel arund "Boka Kotorska". This is the place which looks like Norway's Fjord. What you see on this photo it isn't a lake. It's Adriatic sea in the bay, hidden between the mountains. I saw many cruiserswas traveling this "path" and they stopped in Kotor city - for as I assume - one or two days tour.

PS
This small cgurch is named "Our Lady Of The Rocks" and is located on the very small island Ostrovo. You can get in there on the boat from Perast .73a.jpg

There are many beautiful lakes near Munich. One of them is the Ammersee I regularly spend my time to find peace. he offers every time every season new motives for taking pictures. a long-term exposure emphasizes the tranquility that the lake radiates.

So calm! Thank you so much for your entry.

Scottish weather is often very mixed and creates magical moments like this when just for few minutes sunshine broke through heavy clouds and rain and the rainbow appeared on the other side of Loch Etive in Glen Etive, Scotland

What an epic image catching a double rain-bow. Well done.

Here is a blue hour shot of the cathedral in Girona, Spain. Most people will recognize this as the Great Sept of Baelor from King's Landing in Game of Thrones.

Love that pic! Well done.

Santorini, also called Thira, is a Greek island located in the Aegean Sea. It was destroyed by a volcanic eruption long ago and this has shaped its rugged landscape with beaches composed of black, red and white lava pebbles. The white cube-shaped houses of its 2 main cities, Fira and Oia, are hung on cliffs overlooking a caldera. Postcard pictures everywhere you look!

I love that place! Thank you so much for sharing your image. Tomas

North of Germany

With a huge excitment to participate more, I had to scavenge my external hard drive in search for the photos my brother and I had taken in Germany way back in 2012, when we travelled Europe by train. On this shot all we could think was: Is this thing real? Isn't it a Windows screen?

If you have not written it is Germany I would go for my homeland:)

It's near! I have a lot of photos from north of Europe, I'll start posting them. Who know if I don't have a photo of your front door haha
