Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday.

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Please see the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @kekos with the following entry:

When I was hitch-hiking from Perth to Broom in Western Australia, french couple pick me up and we visit a Hutt lagoon - a pink, salt lake with a red or pink hue due to the presence of the carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella salina, a source of ß-carotene, a food-colouring agent and source of vitamin A.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 A.M. Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words.

Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge.

Best 10 entries will receive a 10% upvote and other valid entries will get a 5% upvote from me. Out of those best 10 entries, one winner and one runner-up will be picked. Their entries will be shared on Appics in separate posts and they will receive my upvotes on their posts as the reward. The winner will get my 100% upvote and the runner-up will get my 50% upvote on Steemit and on Appics too if their posts were posted through Appics.

For more information about the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and its rules & conditions, please see the latest update post.

This photo was taken at Blue Lake in Central Otago region, South Island of New Zealand. I was admiring the views on my own but little did I know that someone on the tour was taking a panoramic photo with me in it 🙂

Rusty Gate in New Zealand

Somewhere on New Zealand's North Island's West Coast I came across this rusty gate surrounded by a blooming meadow when walking from the campground where I was staying to the nearby beach

Sydney Darling Harbor by night one of our icon's in Australia , Darling Harbor is a harbor that is adjacent to the city center of Sydney which is my home town in New South Wales, Australia. Here you can dine at the most exclusive seafood restaurants and book yourself into a high end hotel with the best views in town.

Little creek on Frazer Island, Australia. Eli Creek is the largest freshwater creek on the island. It is ideal to go swim in fresh water and refresh yourself. The pathway gives the opportunity to take an easy and nice walk.

Hanging out of Kayaks along the Abel Tasman National Park on the South Island of New Zealand. Great beaches, walks and secret coves to camp in. A fantastic place to take an adventure holiday! DSC03227.JPG

Not a Landscape shot but 100% Australia. Everyone who has been here knows these little, beautiful but sometimes very annoying Rainbow Lorikeets.
