Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #41 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

Guilin Fisherman - Golden hour

I've posted several images of the fisherman already but each one is unique in its own way. The cormorant fisherman fished all day long to feed their families for many centuries. Nowadays it's not profitable anymore and they earn some extra money by attracting tourists in the Guilin / Yangshuo area for photoshoots and so on. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

Have a good start into the week everybody!

Love those pics!

Tegalalang Rice Terrace

I took this shot on famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace on Bali. The Rice Terrace is located just outside of Ubud and is very popular by tourists as well as by locals. This image was taken while walking through the Rice Terrace and shows the small restaurants on the top at the main road from where you got the perfect view of the Terrace.

"Elephant Falls, Vietnam"

If you stand on top of the fall you can see rocks covered in green that look like elephants from the the back.

According to the legend, a young couple fled from their families who were punishing the young lovers for being together with a member of a hostile tribe. Both of them abandoned their roots to be with each other. Hoping no one would find them, they went into the jungle. Due to sickness, the guy had to return and get medicine ... I forgot the rest of the tale. It didn't end well for them.

I found this though:

"According to K’ho legend, the forested area was once the home of a girl whose father was a tribal chief. She died on the mountainside upon hearing that her boyfriend had been killed in a battlefield; but before her death, she sang. Her voice echoed throughout the mountains and moved the animals. The girl then turned into a cascade and a herd of elephants, bewitched by her singing, were compelled to stay in the waterfall forever.

Even today, the area retains a wild and mystical feeling."

This is the magnificent building of Baiturrahman Grand Mosque which I capture at the golden hour in Banda Aceh, Aceh province, Indonesia.

The photo of this mosque I shoot silhouette to show the beautiful and colorful twilight decorate the sky above the mosque building which is a religious tourism object in Aceh.

In addition to the beautiful twilight, on the silhouette of this mosque building also looks a unique architectural form with a number of domes on it.

The photo was captured when the crew was setting up the air balloon. At that moment, my feeling was the mixture of excitement and anxiety. I am excited because it was my first time to fly while anxious about the safety.

Looks like so much fun!
