The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. We came across this Boabab tree in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. They also call this tree the upside down tree, as its looks like the roots are in the air and the earth is the foliage. It was a nice spot in the shade.

Walking the Great Wall of China is an experience not to be missed. It is harder than I expected but it was well worth the effort. The path was steeper and more slippery than I thought. Yes you can take an elevator, but I think it takes away from the experience. So instead, I walk one end to the other of the Badaling entrance. A nice day in Beijing.

The British Atlantic coast is rugged and beautiful. Nestled atop rocky shores are lighthouses which used to guide the sailors of days of old. It has an eerie quiet feeling that probably is unique to this amazing place.
