Lom Velká Amerika. The truly excellent scenery of this most beautiful quarry in the area probably captivates every visitor. The main tunnel to the quarry is long-term closed, apparently for safety reasons, because the walls of the quarry are slowly glowing and there is a risk of landslides falling down the road in the quarry. Still, this quarry will be overwhelmed by its size and depth.

This picture is taken in Malostranské náměstí, the main square of Prague's Malá Strana. St. Nicholas Church and the adjacent building complex divides the square in an upper (western) and lower (eastern) part. From the square Mostecká street leads out to the Charles Bridge and Nerudova street to Prague Castle.

Smetana prospect. We were here in the right noon and everywhere quiet. Despite the heat, it is worthwhile to go. The sunsets must be complete. Very beautiful view. It's good that there's even a bunch, but you have to be careful when you take your kid.

St. Barbara's Church, Kutná Hora. Amazing architecture, and to be able to build such a stunning building so long ago. Really makes you take a step back! The church is with beautiful arc in the double sides. No wonder it looks stronger. A must see.

View of the National Theater and the Vltava River as seen from the Legion Bridge. Considered the most important and iconic cultural institutions of the country, the National Theatre consists of three artistic ensembles: opera, ballet and drama.

Side view of the watch tower of the White Chateau - a part of the chateau complex in the little Silesian town of Hradec nad Moravici. Known for being a temporary home of Ludwig van Beethoven, the town is located just a few kilometers outside of the city of Opava.

View of part of Kutna Hora from St. Barbara Church. I have been in the city for over 10 years and I was surprised how calm the city is in the evening. There were local tourists along the streets and only a few tourists. I did not experience this for a long time, and I was glad to be able to experience it in the middle of the summer season in this beautiful city.

Vrtba Garden (Vrtbovská zahrada)in Prague is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque gardens in Central Europe. Although small and intimate, the garden features everything a Baroque garden should - elegant staircases, statues and sculptures, terraces and colorful flowerbeds. The garden is also blessed with a superb location, it sits on a slant, providing the garden with many terraces and different levels; the top level boasts the most magnificent view of St. Nicolas and Lesser Town. This hidden garden is definitely a must see if you happen to visit Prague, it is located off of Karmelitská street behind an unassuming gate.

The historic center of Cesky Krumlov is a wonderful place to stay, walk around and explore. It has cobbled streets, beautiful old buildings, interesting shops, great little cafes and restaurants. The castle is easy to walk up to. We were here for a day but we would have loved to stay longer. Definitely a place to return! Yes, there are a lot of tourists but just pack your patience and enjoy!

Boating down one of the canals of Prague. This photo is actually taken quite close to the Charles Bridge. I stumbled upon the canal lined by beautiful buildings with a small group of friends cruising down the canal on a little pontoon. I've never been to Venice but I was feeling Venetian in this moment.

Charles Bridge. Each time I walk over the Charles Bridge is a new experience. I do wish there weren’t so many vendors there. I love the history of the bridge. It is beautiful by day and spectacular at night when it is quieter.

Prague is universally nicknamed the "city of a hundred steeples". And the fact is, that the Czech capital has many churches and from there, steeples. Plus a few towers, the most famous of which are Charles Bridge or the Powder Tower near the Municipal House. From its towers, it is possible to admire ... the roofs of Prague.

Beautiful Old Town Square. The ambience of the place is something special, especially in the evening when everything is lit, the churches and buildings are even more intense. It is an eye-wide, especially the towers of Tyn Church. Accordingly many tourist groups are on the way, but there are enough "escape possibilities".

Wao such a stunning photography....very beautiful buildings....czech republic is my favrite country...very wonderful places...czech republic is a very neat and clean country.....Many historical places in this country...Natural beauty Attracts the peoples.....i love czech republic.....thanks for sharing this great post...

So many movies have featured those buildings and places as locations... would be neat to live there on the daily. Not necessarily for me, but perhaps for a day or two I would try it.

My favorite is the "tower bridge" with the reflection in the water, it takes talent to capture that kind of pictures. Thanks for sharing man
