Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @borran:

Nice view over St. Vitus Cathedral from the other side of the river Vltava. We visited Prague during the Ice Hockey World Championships in 2015. We had a blast! We'll probably visit Czech Republic again in the near future!

I rewarded @borran entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

In 1928, factory owner Fritz Tughendhat decided to build a house for his family. His wife´s family, Löw-Beer, gave him a plot and an unlimited budget for his new house. So, he contracted German functionalism genius, architect Ludwig Miese van der Rohe and he did his best! Villa Tughendhat, Brno

The first and only bobsleigh track in Prague’s Prosek. Although it is located right on the edge of the city, it is easily reachable by public transport. Opened in the summer of 2003 on a beautiful hilly area high above the city, the bobsleigh runs upon the tract of impressive 1,000 metres and it is possible to reach scary speeds of more than 60 km per hour.

Spring in Prague 2015.
On this day, we enjoyed lovely weather when we're strolling around the city of Prague. Here I stopped to take a picture of the beautiful Charles bridge, in Czech: Karlův most.

The statue of Franz Kafka by Jaroslav Rona has already appeared several times. I think nobody has shown it in front of the Spanish synagogue in the background.
The bronze statue stands on the interface in the medieval ghetto and Christian world. There are also Catholic and Evangelical temples on the same square. Spiritually very special place, borderline.

Even in the Czech Republic we have very beautiful places and these include Šumava. When spring is added to it, it is even more beautiful everywhere. I love the fresh spring green.
