I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:
The first funicular at Petřín Hill was built already in 1891 and its operation was terminated in 1921. In 1932 the non-functioning cable car was re-launched and operated until 1965, when traffic was again stopped for technical reasons. The new cable car was put into operation in 1985 with new cars that still operate today. The track is 510 meters long and exceeds 130 meters. Thanks to the price of 24 CZK per one ride, it is probably the cheapest cable car in Europe.

Petřín Lookout Tower, one of the most prominent landmarks of Prague, was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a loose copy inspired by the Eiffel Tower (at a ratio of 1:5). It is 63.5 metres high, and 299 steps lead to its peak, which is at the same altitude as the real Eiffel Tower.

Today, I am coming with a bit unusual photo but I will explain :) Cherry picking is one of the most popular summer outdoor activies in the Czech Republic. Unlike in tropical regions where fruits are available all year round, we can only harvest fruits during several months (typically from June till September) so we really look forward to that and we enjoy picking it :) Cherries are among the most common (and delicious) fruits grown in the country.
We met with a few of our very best friends for a visit to Prague, Czech Republic 2 years ago.
We made sure to celebrate our gathering with this toast at one of the many fine watering holes we found in the city.
The locals were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great time visiting with Angela, a local guide about our age who fascinated us with her memories of growing up during Soviet occupation and seeing all the great changes over her life in the area.
Church od St.Jacob the Greater, Brtnice, region Vysočina
A small-town Baroque church dating back to 1727. At that time, the importance of the city has fallen.
But the church was here from the 15th century. It was destroyed during the Moravian campaign of Hungarian king Matthias Corvinus. Part of the inventory was saved and you can see it here for today... And then, Brtnice was one of the richest Moravian cities.
(And here in 1943 my grandfather married my grandmother. This is not recorded in any chronicle.)
The large Strahov stadium was built in 1926. In 1932 it was modernized and in 1938 it was rebuilt into its present form. The capacity of the stadium was 280,000 spectators, of which 96,000 sat. During the First Republic, it was used for the Sokol Festivities. During the reign of the Communist Party, they turn to the so-called Spartakiádas. Since the 1990s, it has been used exceptionally, for example, for the Rolling Stones concert. Today he uses Sparta football club as a training ground.
Krkonoše are highest mountains in The Czech Republic. If you like to ski or snowboard, you should visit them through the winter, because there are many different ski slopes. But during the spring, summer or autumn, there is also great chance to spend superb time hiking. There are so many different hiking paths just like this one, which is close to the spring of Labe river!

I dont know why i am so obsessed with the shots i got from the Charles Bridge. A very beautiful scene by all standards. No wonder tourists are here throughout the week.
Most of them are there because it's the principal connection point between two essential parts of Prague and because of the historical and architectural value it has, notably the statues and the inscriptions. Of course, the view is splendid, and at this very moment the weather is just like the one in the picture... Cheers! ∜mp
Centre of Pilsen, the city which is very famous beacuse of brewery, but for me more important was architecture this time and some interesting photo exhibitions. I took this photo in 2016.
Probably, if you ask tourists in the Czech Republic what they heard about the Chapel of All Saints, not everyone will answer where it is and what it is. And if you ask that you heard about the Bone, it turns out that almost everyone heard about it.
Therefore, we return to Kutná Hora, or rather, to one of its districts,
Sedlec, where there is a famous chapel, in the basement of which human bones are not just stored - they are decorated with the entire cellar inside.
From the station Kutna Hora to the Church of All Saints can be reached on foot, go a little more than a kilometer. You can use a special tourist bus.

Today stay on the top of Praděd new 145 m high television tower from the year 1970 with TV sender and view place in the height 40 m. There is possibility to visit a restaurant in the tower. The tower is very expressive dominant of Moravia.
