Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:

For many, the beauty of Prague is at its peak at nightfall when its castle, bridges and charming buildings are illuminated. I took the bridge in photos from all angles. And there are the other buildings: the Spanish synagogue, the theaters, the towers ... I find that at night, when they are lit from the inside, we want to know what's going on inside. It reminds me when, kid, I was looking at the lighted windows of Parisian apartments. I imagined people's lives.

Arguably one of the most elegant buildings in Prague is the Ball Game Hall (Míčovna) in the Royal Gardens across the deer moat north of the castle. It was originally built in 1569 as a place for the royal family to play ball games as the name indicates, but was used for different purposes and damaged over the centuries. In the fifties it was finally restored and now we can admire the beautiful exterior sgraffito decorations.

Today was very windy and there were some very unusual and interesting cloud formations in the sky so I took my camera and went out to snap some landscape shots. Here is one of them. It is simple but they say there is beauty in simplicity :) These fields are located between the villages of Nove Lulice and Kruzberk.

On Saturday, I marched a little in Prague and took some pictures. This picture is from the Vysehrad walls. It displays the Vyšehrad tunnel and the place named Libushe bath. The place is named after the mythical Czech princess, who was said to be bathed in the Vltava.

I really enjoyed this tour, it definitely met my expectations. The buffet was better than I expected, with a good range of hot and cold food. Seeing the main bits of prague the castle, charles bridge, the metronome, etc, is all very different from the viewpoint of the Vltava river, and it offers a different and very relaxing way of seeing things.

TV Tower is one of the dominant features in Prague and also the highest building in the city with a height of 216 meters. It lies on the boundary between Zizkov and Vinohrady, in the area of Mahlerovy sady. It was built between 1985 and 1992 by Engineering and Industrial Buildings in Ostrava, designed by architect Václav Aulický, statik Jiří Kozák and Alex Béma.

There are some serious crowds every hour on the hour to see the old town, it is definitely worth experiencing once as you walk through the nice walking area. The old town and square has some beautiful old buildings which are worth visiting. The streets sound the old town are cobbled and great fun to wander around.

I think this picture speaks for itself. Prague can be crowded because of tourist but if you walk a little you would find relaxing and quiet places like this one, where the river flows and an old water wheel takes you back in time

Old Town Hall with its observation tower combined historical charm and breathtaking panoramic views of Prague. You have a choice to walk to the top or take a lift. This is something you have to see. Hopefuly when there are not much tourists (maybe winter is not crowdy). Nothing more to say.

Lom Janičův vrch, Mikulov. The quarry formed on the site of the former Janičova Hill has an elongated oval shape, and on its bottom there is a natural lake. Flooded quarry is a popular natural swimming pool.

Square near the city centre of Brno. I really like how many things are actually captured on this pic. In the back are the Petrov towers and then the square itself has so much stuff going on. Two guys sitting on the statue stairs, drinking beer and smoking. And then the mix of old architecture in that statue with a veggie market with various noises coming from every direction possible. Dunno, I just really liked the vibe so I took a pic :)

That's wonderful ! There are many things to admire on this bridge: All these statues, all these acrobats, the view of the river, really worth a visit. The atmosphere is nice. We can listen to different kinds of music offered by musicians on the bridge;

@czechglobalhosts sorry buddy. I am yet to visit Czech.. i am thinking to visit on the eve of this new year
