Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend!:) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @kamis:

Hello 😊 Today I have for you an old picture from 2011. Picture captures castle Bouzov, which was named after nearer city Bouzov (or the city is named after the castle, who knows?) A lot of movies were filmed at this castle, for example Arabela, Before the Fall, Dvanáct měsíčků,... Castle Bouzov was built between 13 and 14th century. Castle was also proclaimed as one of the National Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic (1999). It is worth a visit !

During a walk through Prague in my October 2017 visit, I took this photo looking towards Old Town from across the river. I've tried to identify what the buildings are (The building on the right looks like the Rudolfinum to me) but I'm not completely certain. But like I've said before, simply taking the time to walk through the city is an experience in itself that I recommend highly!

Good to have it form a different side as well:)... I remember the one you took from the front....

I love when nature creates something beautiful but sometimes even the help from people can create something extraordinary. This is an artifically created quarry just few minutes from the centre of Mikulov. This picture was taken in the summer, as you can see below, where all the rocks are, people sometimes like to create messages of love, like little hearts or first letters of two lovers :) Unfortunately you can only see it in the right corner and just a fraction of it. Guess you'll have to come and see it for yourself :)

Good to see a new/old account:)... Like your entry today..... It just shows how beautiful the Czech countryside is. Great image as the entrance in today´s edition. Tomas

Thank you so much! :) Yes Czech countryside is beautiful, like the whole republic :)

I captured this night shot in front of Rudolfinum, one of the most iconic buildings in Prague, during an annual event known as the Signal Festival. Held in many different locations all over the city, it is an amazing light-show and exhibition of new technologies .

Very interesting! Have a great Sunday. Tomas

Panoramic view of beautiful Czech landscape as seen from the highest tower of the Bezdez Castle. Located in the northern part of the Czech Republic, the Bezdez Castle is a large Gothic castle founded by Premysl Otakar II (one of the most important Czech kings) in the early 13th century.

View of Prague, taken from the hill of the Castle. In the foreground there is the Baroque Church of St. Nicholas, located at Malá Strana. This part of town used to be were the nobility lived. In the image you can see some of the palaces located at the opposite side of the river Vltava.

Love the processing on this. That monochrome gives it a very mysterious feel :)

This photo I made on the central Plzen Square, which is called the Republic Square. The photo shows the Imperial House and the Plague Column. The Imperial House is named in honor of Emperor Rudolf II, who came here when in Prague in 1599 the plague began. Now in the Imperial House is the office of the mayor of Pilsen.

The Memorial to the victims of communism in Prague at foot of Petřin Hill is the work of a significant Czech sculptor Oubram Zoubek. Quite scary statues point to different phases of a human body´s destruction. First sculpture is missing one part of the body, than another and another till the whole figure disappear. It represents physical and psychical destruction of men who are ruled by any undemocratic regime.

Wau new place to visit in Prague. Nice

Special photo for today! If somebody will tell you that dinosaurs are extinct, you can show him this photo from the Czech Republic and tell him: “You are wrong.” Dinosaurs are still pretty much alive, and you can see them in Dinopark Vyskov (40 kilometers from Brno). Oh my god, now I sound like a commercial. But I really enjoyed it there. I visited this place with my girlfriend in 2012, I think, and we took a lot of pictures. Why go to zoo (everybody goes there) when you can go to the Dinopark!

next to small parking lot in the middle of Cesky Krumlov.
I wanted to take a view of the river from the hill and It gives another view of the castle and the rivers bend.
although I didn't visit every season, I think late summer makes
the rivers and castles look most beautiful.

wow that's incredible picture, great eye!:)

Here i share you a phot i took at the famous "Vaclavske namesti" at Prague City Centre. It is a nice Place with many Restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can take there some good typical Czech food (I think so) On top of this place is a museum located, which is temporally under construction...
