Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @extremejogging:

Hi fellow steemians, here is a different perspective on the old town of Kutna Hora in Czech Republic. Riana and I explored this silver mine as part of a guided tour when we were visiting. Quite an exciting experience.

Cycling through Czech republic was some of my best memories both from the great hospitality of the people, the cheap beer and surprisingly beautiful nature. This one is from wild camping somewhere in the northern part of Czech republic.

Stone statue of Karel Hynek Macha located in the middle of the Petrin Hill in Prague. Macha was one of the most important Czech romantic poets and a prominent figure of the Czech literature of the 19th century. It is a sought-after place for lovers and couples.

Street view of the National Theater in Prague. Considered one of the most important and iconic cultural institutions of the country, the National Theatre consists of three artistic ensembles: opera, ballet and drama. On the left, you can also see a part of the famous cafe Slavia.

Photo of Prague at night, showing the reflections of the Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and Charles Bridge on the waters of Vltava river. The Czech capital is a very beautiful city, but at night it has a very nice and special mood, I consider that this image describes it.

The most stunning small city - the old town crosses several bends of the river, with beautiful views, and a traffic free, peaceful and authentic setting. Definitely one of the most attractive places in Europe. The charm of the old town makes a great day out, I somehow managed to take over 100 photos here. Český Krumlov was beautiful in night and day.

When I look out of the ˋOrange Room´ of Zámek Konárovice (- located near the larger town Kolín about 55 miles east of Prague -) this is the idyllic view that presents itself to me ~ 🧡 ~ Although the water of this large public pond looks crystal-clear in this image it unfortunately can be plagued by algae in summer — in this way we once had the opportunity to spy on lovely men acting like walruses heroically fishing the whole slippery greenery out with bare hands :)

Despite suchlike minor troubles it is a quite popular location where on hot summer days people and dogs alike can be seen jumping into the refreshing wet together :)

Prague astronomical clock is one of the most if not THE MOST visited places in Prague. On the picture is the top of the tower which is above the clock. You can see it's exactly 6pm - means the statues of the Apostles at the doorways above the clock should appear soon..I was just wondering what's the point of being inside of a tower at that point. Can you see mechanics of the figures movement? Cuz if not, you're kind of passing the whole point of visiting Astronomical Clock, don't you? As you can see, there are many people on top.

Limestone quarry, Prokopské údolí (Prokop´s Valley), Praha
P1080788.JPG
This quarry operated in the years 1876 - 1905. Then the water suddenly flooded it. All the Prague buildings on the left bank of this era were built of lime from this quarry.
It can be bathed here. But not in this extreme heat. Water is infested with microorganisms.

Thankfully, it is only a copy of the Eiffel tower in Paris. Therefore it is not as high and there are fewer stairs to climb. I did not take the elevator as it is tiny and there was a queue. The view from the tower is lovely, you can see the old town and the Hradcany with the prominent St.Vitus cathedral.
It is good to take the path to the Strahov monastery from this petrin tower.

Beautiful Gothic Architecture Church
St. Vitus Cathedral is the Czech Republic's largest and most important church. The church is located in the castle of Prague, Gothic architecture is a wonderful example, which has many of the king of Bohemian graves.
