WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @assasin:

Marián Bridge is one of the symbols of Ústí nad Labem. The bridge was built by the architect Roman Koutsky in 1995-98. The length of the bridge is 180 meters, and the height is about 60 meters. Its construction consists of two pylons, of which 15 steel cables each extend supporting the bridge deck.

I rewarded @assasin entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Close up view of the Lesser Town Bridge Towers (Malostranské mostecké věže in Czech). These two stylistically different towers, connected by a gate, form the entrance to the Lesser Town from the Charles Bridge.

Panoramic view of the Prague Castle complex and the Vltava River in the foreground. Snowy days like this one have been increasingly rare in the Czech capital in the recent years but this winter has brought a decent load of snow even to Prague. This photo was taken a few years ago though.

On a high cliff above the town of Usti nad Labem, remnants of the once powerful fortress rise. This is the ruins of the castle Strchekov, which was erected in 1318 to protect the ships plying the river Labe. Now there is a museum in the castle, which operates from April to October. It is a pity that in February the castle was closed, so all that remained was to photograph it from another observation deck.

The Charles Bridge . The bridge is one of the most visited tourist sites. At any time of the day there are crowds of tourists. For five hundred meters, what is called “there is no place for an apple to fall”. On the bridge there are musicians and artists, and sellers of various souvenirs, often handmade. Different times of the day and at different times of the year Charles Bridge looks different, but it is equally majestic and beautiful. Walking on it is a pleasure. The bridge connects the areas of the old place and Mala Strana.

Vychovatelna, the hospital complex Bulovka, Prague

It looks like a baroque chateau, but it's not a chateau. It's a youth correction facility. For this purpose, the building was built between 1906 and 1907.
Today there is the hospital department. Surgery.

The surface of the Vltava clearly belongs ships. There are also several historical pieces from the first half of the 20th century. One of them is the Vltava steamer from 1940. It is one of the smaller pieces with a length of 53 matres and a maximum speed of 16.5 Km / h. It was renovated in 2007 and 6 years later it was declared a cultural monument.

Hi Tomas, the photo shows part of the Moravian Square in Brno with Janacek's thetre and the statue of the soldier by Vincenc Makovsky symbolising the victory of Soviet army against nazism (it is also called The hitchhiker). In front of the statue used to be ceremonials eg. Pioneers Promise Proclamations.
