I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @holm:
Cycling through Czech republic was some of my best memories both from the great hospitality of the people, the cheap beer and surprisingly beautiful nature. This one is from wild camping somewhere in the northern part of Czech republic.

This place is absolutely breathtaking with its purity and beautiful nature. Walking for lovers of nature is wonderful. Beautiful views and rock formations that take their breath. I certainly recommend to see :-) Admission is cheap and circuits both Teplických rocks and Adršpašské rocks are separate for the walk, which is fair. Because one circuit will take a half-day walk :-) We really enjoyed this and we will definitely visit again.
Those rock formations are truly fascinating and well worth visiting. It will make a great entry in today's contest. Have a great start of the week. Tomas
Beautiful historic house and the Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral (colloquially known just as the Opava Cathedral) - a majestic Catholic church found in the historic center of the city of Opava, Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic.
This one might seem boring at first, but what caught my eye and made me take the pic is that forest. I mean..I don't even know if it's a forest :D Is it a forest with rocks in between. Or are those actually rocks and trees grow in between? I can't decide but I love that sudden change from grass to huuge rocks and trees. I'm wondering whether are there more proper trees or "rock" trees. Obviously, pic has been taken in Adrspach rocks, people who'r following this pic competition ar efor sure familiar with that area :D.
Charles Bridge
Very beautiful bridge with a lot of history. Expect a lot of people there at the majority of times. If you want to get a picture with as few people in it, then you will have to get there about dawn time. You can get some great views of the old city and castle from the bridge.
There are not only plants, but also artistic installations in the Prague Botanical Garden in Troja...
I did not even know the author or the title of the work. It's good idea. I laughed at it. I definitely knew he was a female and a male. Will there come another iron creature around?
It is the place you need to see when you are in Kolin. Kolin is small city with nice main square. The historical centre of the town has many gothic and baroque buildings. Very Nice and beautiful square.
Hey...! I just have been there recently :)) ~ Yet I experienced it as quite large city... ha...! Amazing how the point of view varies accourding to one’s specific past & background :)
Cesky Krumlov
What a wonderful old medieval town. Old buildings with narrow alleyways surrounded by a winding river. A great way to spend a few hours. Without doubt one of the jewel places to visit in Czech Republic. Meander around the picturesque side streets, it's like stepping back in time.
It is the old town of Prague where medieval townscapes remain. There are many slender, winding roads surrounded by tall buildings, and although it is a little hard to walk, the atmosphere is preeminent. Various architectural styles from the Middle Ages are seen and harmonized.
Divoká sárka
This is a great place to spend some time in nature, to hike a little bit, to enjoy the sun, the view of the city, the lake, the hills and valleys. There's also a pool in the middle of the park.
Make sure to wear some comfortable shoes if you want to walk on the ground instead of the paved alleys. You can take a blanket with you and rest at the top of the hills.
St. Nicholas Church
If outside this church seems unspecified, the interior is breathtaking. Beautiful church donannt on the old archetypal place of baroque outside and inside. Superb. You have to sit down and take the time to observe. You have to come back in the evening where concerts of excellent quality are given every day. Going out to stroll on the square, have a drink in the sun and see the huge clock.
