ARRIVED IN VIENNA

Last night I arrived in Vienna.
I was thinking it's cold, but apparently I brought the heat with me.
From the airplane I was able to admire a fantastic sunset. Then I took the train to go downtown.
For an artist there are endless things to see here: monuments, museums and parks.
Vienna center is formed architecturally by a first circle, called ring:"der Ring", surrounded by a second one called belt:"der Gürtel". It is very easy to travel by public transport.
I lived here for four years, just at the right time, because I was able to enjoy the teaching of the best masters of art.
The first was the sculptor Carlo Wimmer, the only pupil of the famous and brilliant Gustinus Ambrosi. And the second is the painter and sculptor Ernst Fuchs, already included in the art history books when he was still alive. He had even been the pupil of Salvador Dali.... sadly both died, which made me suffer a lot, but I am consoling with the fact that they reached more than 80 years old and were able to work until the end of their lives.
I thank God who has left me a last Master, the son of Fuchs, also a painter and sculptor. He's name is Daniel, he is a person with an immense knowledge of so many things, especially art! It is the last column of support that I have left, but it is a strong, strong and indestructible column! I often ask him for advice and opinions.
In short, I am pleased to be here, even though it is already colder today!
I will keep you informed about the next few days when I come back to Vienna, curious about what awaits me.

ARRIVO A VIENNA

Ieri sera sono arrivata a Vienna.
Avevo paura facesse freddo, ma a quanto pare ho portato il caldo con me.
Dall'aereo ho potuto ammirare un tramonto fantastico. Poi ho preso il treno per andare in centro.
Per un'artista qui ci sono infinite cose da vedere: monumenti, musei e parchi.
Vienna centro è formata architettonicamente da un primo cerchio, chiamato anello: "der Ring", circondato da un secondo chiamato cintura: "der Gürtel". È molto facile spostarsi con i mezzi pubblici.
Ho vissuto qui per quattro anni, proprio nel momento giusto, perchè ho potuto godere dell'insegnamento dei migliori Maestri d'arte.
Il primo era lo scultore Carlo Wimmer, unico allievo del famoso e geniale Gustinus Ambrosi. E il secondo il pittore e scultore Ernst Fuchs, già compreso nei libri di storia dell'arte quand' era ancora da vivo. Egli era stato persino l'allievo di Salvador Dali....purtoppo entrambi sono morti, cosa che mi ha fatto soffrire molto, ma mi consolo con il fatto che abbiano raggiunto più di 80 anni e abbiano potuto lavorare fino alla fine della loro vita.
Ringrazio Dio che mi è rimasto un ultimo Maestro, il figlio di Fuchs, anche lui pittore e scultore. Si chiama Daniel ad è una persona con una conoscenza immensa su tantissime cose, sopratutto sull'arte! È l'ultima colonna d'appoggio che mi è rimasta, ma è una colonna resistente, forte e indistruggibile! A lui chiedo spesso consigli ed opinioni.
Insomma mi fa piacere di essere qui, malgrado oggi faccia già più freddo!
Ripassando a Vienna vi terrò al corrente i prossimi giorni, curiosa di cosa mi aspetta.
