RE: This is Japan
As long as the canned coffees don't have milk or sugar in them here, they're great!
I'll never forget my first experience drinking a canned coffee out of a vending machine. It was during a pretty long 10-hour training session. I had just come to Japan the day before and didn't know where to get a cup of coffee, so I hadn't had a cup of coffee in over a day and was feeling it. I ordered a hot can of coffee with milk and sugar in it, not realizing both that I had ordered a hot coffee nor that I had ordered one with cream and sugar in it. When I touched the can and it was warm, I thought I had been shocked. It really surprised me. Then when I took my first sip of the coffee, I nearly spit it out. I thought it was awful.
