According to the latest news that we heard,Grab driver need to apply E hailing to continue their job but there is still no official effective statement.Grab Company have now engaged with our Transport Minister to get this things settle.
What is E-hailing?
For those who do not know what is E hailing,let me show you.
- E hailing is a term where a process conducted of ordering a Taxi,Limo or any term of transportation pick up via any device
- The E stands for electronic and hail refers to the traditional process of signaling the transport to stop
Update
As a grab driver, we received an announcement email from grab company to avoid their driver to get confuse.
The email show that :
- Grab Company has meet the transport Ministry and take this opportunity to highlight the things that may burden the co-driver, where most of them are transparent and individuals who rely on Grab an extra source of income.
- Transport Ministry has given a transition period of up to one year and there may not will be any major changes before 2019
- Grab Company will give fully guide towards this transition to get smooth-sailing transition of any potential changes.
- Ensure more positive within this transition.For example,upgrading safety matter and income.
- Grab Company and Transport Ministry consent to reduce the burden of potential training and fees for the training.
Any upcoming update will be update within email by time to time.

I really hope that this blog will solve any confusing issues that really get widespread right now.
But for me, i took this as positive way because it actually help us in security matter and most driver will be more safe from any unwanted criminal out there.
I just hope that the government will not give a hard time for the drivers for an extra tax for e-hailing service.
So far I have taken Grab a few times, which started as My Taxi at the time and my first ride was actually a taxi driver came to pick me up to KL Sentral.
I totally do not understand the fuss from the taxi companies as this is an open market for every single driver who can actually earn something extra along the way; perhaps with more opportunities like Steemit (which #teammalaysia is pushing to make it as a parallel opportunity to sustain one who wishes to earn from sharing authentic content) might one day allow people to be less striving competitive in nature and enjoy what the rezeki they have (and maybe have more time for their family too)

most of the grab driver actually doing this as part time and for some,this could be the end .
I suppose this is to help protect full time drivers.
I have a Food Bank recipient who was also fired as a driver position and his Grab application is in trouble. He has to feed 8 mouths and this is his make or break thing too.
