Major FAANG stocks and OIL are already falling for 30%+
The Middle East headlines have distracted lot of readers from the very real economic effects of big financial speculators, making nightmare years after. We can already see it as some stock prices of big corporations are down 25%-40% globally - in last few months alone.

What are 'FANG Stocks'? FANG is the acronym for four high-performing technology stocks in the market as of 2017 – Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and Google (now Alphabet, Inc.). The term was coined by CNBC's Mad Money host Jim Cramer.

China's Shanghai index is down over 30% this year alone as the world's second largest economy mirrors its Atlantic competitors in a drowning by debt.
The other major economies such as Turkey, South Africa, Brazil, Venezuela, India, Hong Kong, Australia, Argentina, Italy, Indonesia, and Singapore seeking deeper into bear market territory.
Crude oil price fell from $75.86 to $50.42 for a barrel in less than 2 months!! That's a huge fall.

I wonder if that's part of the play they've got out for when the USA military assaults Syria for their oil... Or if it's the whole reason they're going to do it.
Good question. But OPEC already cut its oil demand forecast for 2019 and oil markets are increasingly oversupplied. When supply is higher as demand, price always falls. But as you say, politics always plays big role here too.
That is debatable. Companies say a lot of things, but it doesn't mean they're true. I do not believe oil is oversupplied. Big names are market influencers and can turn the tide in their favor, afterall.
Oil has very rigged prices. Word "oversupplied" is taken as it fills the needs of investors and bankers. it's always the same story. Because in middle east prices are the lowest, EU and US are there to make trades - for decades now. Mostly in Afganistan. And same barrels are sold for 100x higher price in your own country. Good trade, isn't it? Syria is cruical as a cultural, monetary, historical barricade - and a perfect point for trading oil, gas, gold. It always was between east and europe. and now everyone wants to have a piece of pie.
