Selahattin eyyubi Mosque

The Church of St. Youhanna (Baptist Yahya) was built in 457 in place of this mosque located on Fuat Bey Street (Yeniyol), the Governor of Sanliurfa. Selahattin Eyyubi period used as a mosque for a short time. In the mid-XIX century, today's building was built on the old church here. Since it was the largest church in the region, it was also named as the Cathedral. The building has been devastated for many years and has been used as an intermediate power plant. It was repaired on May 28, 1993 and opened to worship as a mosque.

The entrance to the mosque is in the west direction, and the last community place was constructed using the nartex of the previous Church. The place of worship was largely illuminated by Windows. On the sides of the Windows on the structure are the half-columns remaining from the church and the dragon reliefs lying around each other.
