Niye sana benzer ki papatyalar; böyle tiril tiril ve tertemiz oldukları için mi?.. Böyle her biri diğerlerinden farksız ama her biri bir diğerinden daha güzel olduğu için mi?..
Yoksa, her bir papatyayı mükemmel kılan; dantelsiz, boyasız o sade güzelliğinin idrakinde olması mı?

Dağ başında, yol kenarında sessiz sessiz sade güzelliğiyle salınıyor bembeyaz papatyalar. Tıpkı O'nun gibi...

Evet, sen “farksızsın” herkesten; tarlalar dolusu, binlerce papatya arasındaki herhangi bir papatya gibi...
Ama; “benim papatyam” gibi!..

Narin, kırılgan bedeninde ne hüzünler saklı kim bilir. Buna rağmen her zaman güç veren, beni kendime getiren, bana hep iyi gelendin sen...

Papatyalara benzeyen, sanadır!..

Gönlümün en ücra köşelerinde saklı sevdamsın sen. Yüreğimin derinliklerinde çağlayan olup akansın sen. Su misâli ferahlatansın sen. Alev gibi sevdanla yakıp kavuransın sen. Toprak gibi buram buram kokansın sen.

Sen benim tek sevdamsın, hayatımın anlamı, yaşama sebebimsin...
