how can he possibly do that?
obviously, he CANNOT COMMENT whatsoever on the topic - he will deny that they’re considering it (as is basic M&A protocol, you do not pre announce or hint at any possibility of acquiring a public company otherwise their valuation will pump up before your official bid is made)
so instead, the only possible way he can “prove” it is by giving concrete, SHORT-TERM timelines and demonstrate that there is immense momentum behind the scenes and is IMMINENT
it must be drastically different from previous calls wherein they share plans over 6-12+ months out
some examples:
-detailed robotaxi timelines, plans and fleet sizing over the next 60 days
-addressing WHY all plans previously shared had failed to materialize and why there have been zero comms
-an unveil date of optimus 3 and plans for production happening next quarter MAX and expecting SALES numbers for early 2027
IF he does not do this without any doubt, it will provide further evidence that MY thesis that i’ve held for months will be true - and will mean the stock is DEAD
why? the ceiling is capped by a spacex merger premium
think about it:
spacex will continue to sell off into october due to lockup expirations, along with the market having a 10% correction
tesla will head toward low $300’s during this timeframe as well
therefore, it’s likely that a merger won’t happen until 2027, OR it will happen when both companies are low market cap
a 20-30% premium (per RBC expectations), will put a bid price at or slightly under $400
“shareholder voters will reject it!”
