The N1 was 17 meters wide. Starship is only 9.
Both rely on large engine clusters. Raptor 3 delivers high specific impulse in an incredibly compact package,
and SpaceX has already mastered controlling 33 engines at once.
So why not build a wider, heavier Starship?
