The only possible issue with the present Blockchain was the Quantum effect.
As in, the Blockchain cannot be hacked, unless a very powerful Quantum Computer is being used.
With the latest Chinese breakthrough, why not go the whole Hog and have a Quantum Blockchain.
Because in my eyes, this is what is being explained here. (Article Below)
Any type of tampering with the Quantum Blockchain will result in it getting tainted.
Thereby rendering the whole process impossible.
So it looks like the Chinese are moving ahead in all this type of theoretical and practical maths and sciences.
While over in Trump Land, the great mental wall is getting built to keep out fresh Ideas and Johnny Foreigner Entrepreneurs.

In a major breakthrough for quantum teleportation, scientists in China have successfully transmitted entangled photons farther than ever before, achieving a distance of more than 1,200 km (745 miles) between suborbital space and Earth.
Entangled photons theoretically maintain their link across any distance, and have potential to revolutionize secure communications – but, scientists have previously only managed to maintain the bond for about 100 km (62 miles).
Using the ‘quantum satellite’ Micius, the scientists were able to communicate with three ground stations in China, each more than 1,000 km (621 miles) apart.
