without speaking much English let me take you back 2 years ago

throwback to April 2015, NYSC passing out ceremony at iseyin oyo state

the picture above was taken during my passing out ceremony (pop) in iseyin oyo state in 2016.

when i got the letter that i was posted to oyo state for my one year national service i was perplex and confused because i had never image that i will be thrown the north to far west but of course that is the essence of nysc.
i printed my letter and when it got to the d day i travel down to my state of deployment for camping, an activity which usually last for 3 weeks, after the 3 weeks camping activities i was again deployed to my place of primary assignment also referred to as the PPA.

while serving i was always looking forward to the end of the program because i wasn't really comfortable with the environment after a horrible experience at camp.

immediately after completely my national service we gather for collection of certificate, i can still imagine the joy i felt that day to have final bring the one year compulsory service to an end, we were all handed the certificate and gather to snap some photographs.

it was really fun serving my country most especially travel to another location outside the environment i was used to, i like a lot of things including their culture and norms.

i want to use this medium to thank @gee1 for this wonderful initiative, for providing us the opportunity to share our memories.
