I remember that I actually gave the guy $20 off or so on a negotiation. They can sell for a little more. For some reason, sealed microcassette recorders or some older Sony products sell super well. Perhaps it's collectors or people seeking replacements/gifts. I'm with you, but there's always demand for sealed discontinued items for one reason or another.

I've sold sold a few like this, the last one (not the one above) actually had its mechanical rubber belts deteriorated inside after the customer opened the new packaging, so it can be a catch 22 at times.

I find this all so amazing. learning and knowing the values has sure paid off for you.
