2018... the year of blur

After riding the work merry go bull, I find I have plateaued to boredom.

Coversations have become redundant. Situations are deja vu filled paths that I have tread before.

The challenge is lacking and the leaders don't seem to know what they are doing.

People have become complacent and they are quick to blame anything, but themselves, for any mishap.

There is a lacking enthusiasm and most tasks seem to be mundane.

I've delved a little more into the boardgaming world.
I have purchased some D&D books. I'm very much enjoying reading through them.
I'm picturing my first foray into an actual campaign, thinking up characters & my anxious brain pondering what it may be like.

I've also enjoyed playing some other board games and having fun away from my working world.

The winter months have kept us more indoors than outdoors.
The kids are focused on their Kumon homework.
I give them credit for adjusting to the routine and making progress on their studies.

My daughter, Jess, is learning some maths patterns and trying get faster in completing rudimentary sums.

The Mrs has been working at a take away shop on the weekend, this has changed the weekend dynamic.

A what a blur this year is.
Today, Tuesday, it already feels like the week is done.
