100 DAYS OF STEEM - 5 Things About My Country

This topic comes as a bit of a coincidence since I recently wrote about South Africa's potential and how it may never be realised so I have been giving some thought to my country and how it operates.

I think not much is known about South Africa, we don't do a good job of promoting ourselves and well who wants to really listen, I think its the same for many African countries, we're still seen as deep dark Africa with lions in the street (Okay that does happen, but not the way you think it does) usually its stolen lions or they won the Currie cup (Lions are a rugby team here in SA).

So what can I tell you about South Africa, hmm let's see!

Hi Afrikaantje, nice you joined the challenge again and used #steemexclusive! South Africa could indeed improve how it presents itself to the world. It has an amazing huge amount of cool down to earth people and the scenery must be one of a kind.
As a wine enthusiast myself, South African wine is a never-ending exploration of intense flavors and unique to its kind.

Thanks for sharing!

(PS, dunno if blocktrades still trades STEEM or has a market here? Poloniex, Binance, Bittrex and Huobi also have an affiliate program if you would be interested!)

When it comes to wine, we do know a thing or too, its come from years of hangovers lol

Lol ah thanks for the reminder, will need to update my footer, I do use Binance and Bittrex :)

I know that all the bad things are true, but I will just say that I really agree on the first four and that the fifth... could be good spirit despise all the bad things. I have been very touched and happy with the friendly and outgoing sentiment, helpfulness and down to earthness (if such a thing exists) of all kinds of people i have meet in South Africa. I am sorry that fear, inequality, corruption etc. is spoiling so many great things. Cheers and all the best!

Oh I agree, South Africans do take it on the chin that's for sure. It really is a pity, they deserve a better country than they have been given and many who leave I'm sure do it with a sore heart but go on to benefit and improve other nations sadly
