Greetings to my dear Steemit family, I hope you all are going fluently and staying Promethean. First of all, I would like to thank our respectable host for giving us such a awesome shot to learn and partake our art expertise every week. I feel supernatural to be a allotment of this trip where each week we're getting commodity new and provocative about pottery and beautifying art.

This is the third week of the challenge, and the topic is Musiac pottery art. I chose to try the Mirror Musiac Pottery, as I was veritably heated to work with glass pieces and produce commodity effervescent and beautiful. It was my veritably first attempt, but the procedure was pleasurable and I got so much from it.

Materials I used

1 small clay pot

Wall putty( ½ mug)

White cement( 4 spoons)

Water( as demanded)

Mixing bowl

Metallic spatula

Small broken mirror pieces

several drops of blue color for paste

Cloth for cleaning

Step- by- Step Process

Step 1 Preparing the Pot

First, I cleaned the clay pot and made assured the exterior was droughty. Then I startled pasting the slim mirror pieces one by one. I arranged them in arbitrary designs to form it more cultural. Once all the mirror fragments were bound, I commemorated the pot apart for drying.

Step 2 Making the Musiac Paste

In a bowl, I appended wall putty / white cement ( ½ mug), 4 tablespoons of white glue, and sluggishly mixed in water until it came a thick paste. To make it more lively, I added a many drops of blue color. The paste looked delicate and was easy to apply.

Step 3 Applying the Paste

With the help of a spatula( and occasionally using my hands for texture), I applied the paste each over the pot, precisely spreading it between the mirror pieces. I made sure the paste was unevenly concentrated. After around 5 minutes, I wiped off the redundant adhesive from the outside of the mirrors with a fabric so they would radiate easily.

Step 4 Drying and Finishing

I left the pot for about 5 hours until it dried fully. On the top border of the pot, I painted with a blend of Red colour, which I allowed
gave a stimulating and soft combination.

Step 5 Final Touch

Eventually, I arranged some artificial flowers in my musiac pot. Believe me, when the sunshine touched the glass pieces, the pot looked truly stunning and added brilliance to my room. I also write my username and date of the post for verification.

My Experience

1. Which Musiac art I chose?

I chose Mirror Musiac pottery for this week.

2. Did I like this art?

Yes! I really enjoyed this art. It was delightful and comforting to embellish the pot with shining mirror pieces.

3. Any difficulties faced?

At first, it was a little tricky to prepare the paste in the right thickness, but after mixing sluggishly, I managed to make it perfect. Also, cleaning the mirror surface incontinently was important, else it could get messy.

4. What if pottery doesn’t turn out as expected?

Actually, I believe art always teaches us patience. However, I do n’t feel disappointed, If my pottery doesn't turn out as anticipated. Instead, I take it as a assignment and try again with further care coming time. Mistakes form us better and present us makeshift innovatory nonpareils.

Conclusion

This week’s activity was veritably pleasurable and meaningful for me. I’m gratified for this challenge, as it motivated me to test something sui generis. I’m excited to keep up getting in the coming weeks.
