Images Of Samui Island - Day 20 - Contemplative Monks

Each day for the next 30 days, I will bring to you a new picture of this beautiful tropical island. Given the current international flight ban into Thailand, the island is almost devoid of people except for a few locals, some long-term expats and Bangkok escapees.

I figured what better time to share with you some images that I take around the island along with a short description of the place in the photo

CONTEMPLATIVE MONKS - After completing a house blessing, these 2 monks took a moment of quiet contemplation to enjoy the view of their beautiful island. You can see the fine white string which has been wrapped around the house for the ceremony, and the monks are looking north over the dense tropical vegetation to the popular beach of Lamai. It was a beautiful moment.
