Poem by a well known Buddhist monk: Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, (143/365), the OPED project

This week is very important for many reasons; Wednesday is a Valentine's Day, Friday is Chinese New Year's Day while the scenes on the worlds of precious metal and cryptocurrencies have been very dramatic. The Director of the Bank of Thailand (BOT), which is equivalent to the FED in the US, has followed the decisions of the Western banking elites in forbidding banking system in Thailand from trading cryptocurrencies and forbiding companies' building platforms for trading cryptocurrencies in Thailand.

I am afraid that many people will suffer this year as the fluctuations in the money market will catch the majority unprepared like the last financial crisis some twenty years ago. That's why I need this Thai poem written by a very well known monk: Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, whose works received recognition world wide with accolades from the UNESCO.

สัปดาห์นี้มีความสำคัญในหลายๆด้าน นอกจากมีวันวาเลนไทล์ และวันตรุษจีนแล้ว ยังมีเหตุการณ์น่าติดตามในโลกการเงิน และการผันผวนของราคาทองคำแท่ง ตลอดจนตัวบ่งชี้ทางเศรษฐกิจที่จะมีผลกระทบต่อตลาดทั่วโลกด้วย การที่ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทยประกาศมาตรการควบคุมการทำธุระกรรมด้านเงินคริปโต ตามแบบอย่างธนาคารกลางที่อเมริกา ก็แสดงให้เห็นถึงความล่มสลายของการพิมพ์ธนบัตรเหมือนเงินเล่นเกมส์โดมิโน ขณะนี้หลายประเทศไม่ยอมรับธนบัตรจากอเมริกาแล้ว โชคร้ายที่ไทยเราตกเป็นเมืองขึ้นทางเศรษฐกิจของกลุ่มนายธนาคารตะวันตกมานานแล้ว

ปีนี้จะเป็นปีที่คนไทยต้องรับศึกหนักมากทางการเงิน จะมีความผันผวนเกิดขึ้นรวดเร็วมากจนคนตั้งตัวไม่ติด จึงทำให้ต้องหันหน้าพึ่งธรรมะของท่านพุทธทาส เราใช้ปฎิทินที่มีธรรมะและรูปของท่านมาหลายปีแล้ว เพื่อเป็นการเตือนสติและเข้าใจสัจธรรมของชีวิต เวลาไปพบเจอสิ่งที่ไม่พึงปรารถนา เราจะได้เตือนสติให้ปล่อยวางได้ทันท่วงที

My friend's new picture in her pottery shop, 144/365, the OPED project

My friend at the pottery shop in Amarin Plaza has just put up a new picture. She said this picture reminded her of the good old and happy days when life was full of good things and happiness. This picture showed the Late King Bhumibol and his family members when they were very young. This must be around the 1960s. My friend likes this picture very much and I think it is quite poignant to me as this reminds me of the law of impermanence. Nothing stays the same and time flies by very fast!

เพื่อนที่ร้านขายเครื่องเคลือบได้รูปใหม่มาติดผนัง เห็นแล้วก็ชอบมาก พอจะถ่ายรูปใกล้ๆ แสงสะท้อนจนทำไม่ได้ จึงต้องถ่ายภาพระยะไกลออกมาแทน นี่เป็นภาพที่ดูแล้วมีความสุขมาก คาดเดาว่าเป็นภาพถ่ายสมัยก่อนราวๆสี่สิบปีมาแล้ว เวลาช่างผ่านไปเร็วเหลือเกิน เราไม่สามารถหวนกลับไปหาสิ่งดีๆในอดีตได้ เพื่อนของเราชอบภาพนี้มากเพราะเป็นภาพที่ทุกคนมีรอยยิ้มและมีแต่ความสุข ตอนนี้ก็เหลือแต่ความทรงจำดีๆที่จะค่อยๆลางเลือนไปตามเวลาและอายุขัย ทำให้คิดถึงหลักอนิจจัง ความเปลี่ยนแปลงไม่คงที่ของสรรพสิ่งทั้งหลายในโลกนี้
