That is so fascinating! I lost my mum to glioblastomas in 2000, she was 49. And her mother died of the same in 2002. I feel the prognosis and treatment has changed little in all this time. So wonderful to see this!
Funnily enough I read somewhere a couple of years ago that contracting chickenpox in childhood greatly reduces the risk of glioblastomas. Have no idea how true this is, it was a proper study however. We know so little about the human body
Hi @Tracywhite, you're right about glioblastoma risk reduced by having chicken pox. There are several studies but this one kicked them of https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26972449.
