Industrial Hemp: What You Need to Know

Pure Relief Hemp Sorue.jpg

What is hemp oil? Hemp oil is an extract of a strain of cannabis sativa plant that is acquired for industrial uses and it is very helpful in a lot of ways. Yes this is the same plant that marijuana is extracted from. Cannabis has around 500 cannabinoids and they have different uses and effects on the body. What am I saying? Unlike marijuana hemp oil is non-psychoactive because it does not contain THC, the compound that gives a high in marijuana.

Hemp is infused with CBD to make it more nutritious for people who take it as daily supplements.
is enriched with nutrients that boosts the immune system and also controls most medical conditions. It is outstanding how much industrial hemp can do: fuel, construction, food, supplements, cooking oil, textiles and building materials. Let’s take a look at all you need to know about industrial hemp-from how its grown, it’s uses and everything in between.

NOTE: Terpenes is a product extracted from hemp that can be infused with other compounds to give a certain effect (aroma).

Industrial Hemp Yielding

Hemp proves to have advantages from each stage. Farmers cannot resist growing hemp because of the benefits and value it has for them. It uses 8-12 weeks to grow with a very limited amount of water compared to other crops. Growing terpenes for sale is inexpensive and affordable to farmers because it does not require pesticides (unbelievable right?)
With hemp, soil erosion is a thing of the past and in addition, after harvesting it leaves the soil filled with nutrients. It is considered a bio-accumulator with the capability to remove toxins from the soil.

Hemp’s Sourcing

It is obvious that people/companies have their own preferred regions of getting hemp. Many farmers in different countries are getting into hemp farming, which is great. But that cannot beat the decades European countries have spent on Hemp farming.

European countries allowed the cultivation of hemp and extract CBD terpenes oil in the 1990s unlike other continents where it was either banned or unknown to them. With the amount of time these farmers have spent in growing this plant, they have more than enough experience to produce the best hemp in the market. Having set the standards of quality hemp, Europe stands to be the number one producer of the plant to the most prestigious companies in the world.

Reasons for Outsourcing Hemp

The Controlled Substances Act of 1970 categorized hemp as a Schedule 1 drug which made it illegal. Growing it was prohibited in the U.S. but there was a twist. Hemp could be imported as long as the THC levels in it were 0.3% or less. Hemp was legally infamous at the time due to that Act.

In 2014, the farm bill was passed with an amendment that allowed states to pass the research and experiment programs. The amendment allowed the manufacturing and cultivation of hemp with the condition that it should contain 0.3% THC or less. Agricultural institutions were also allowed to conduct experiments on hemp.

Terpenes for sale is an an available commodity in all the states that hemp is legalized. A number of states (around 27) have allowed the experiments and research of hemp. About 20 of the 27 states have permitted the cultivation and manufacture of hemp (such a marvelous development). The 2014 Farm Bill made it possible for manufacturers to produce CBD terpenes oil and acquire hemp from the U.S. which was previously illegal.

Since the Bill was passed the production and sales of hemp in the U.S. has increased with unbelievable numbers. It is estimated that given a few years, U.S. will become a leading producer and manufacturer of hemp.

The Uses of Hemp

Hemp has many industrial uses and that is why it has become a very sought after product. Industrial hemp has many uses including biodegradable plastics, fuel, construction, textiles, food, paper, Omega 3 & 6 supplements, cooking oil, flour, rope, clothing and many more.

There are different cannabinoids present in hemp (including CBD) that have more than industrial value. CBD is considered the epitome of modern natural medicine because of the number of conditions it controls and treats. People who have used CBD terpenes oil have sung praises of it and there is enough research to back up their claims on CBD.
Hemp has been there for such a long time but the uses are still getting uncovered by research each day. Hemp has become multipurpose and with more research you are going to reap more fruits from it.
