Toward the start of the twentieth century, the first military armored vehicles were fabricated, by adding reinforcement and weapons to existing vehicles.

The first armored car was the Simms Motor War Car, designed by the British innovator and business man, Frederick Richard Simms. A solitary model was requested in April 1899 It was built by Vickers, Sons and Maxim of Barrow on an extraordinary Coventry-fabricated Daimler frame with a German-assembled Daimler engine (with the Simms-Bosch magneto-electric start and timing gear).

The Motor War Car was outlined with the vision of possibly being conveyed to the British-controlled South Africa Colony to help the then-seething war exertion against the Boers during the Second Boer War. Tragically for F.R. Simms, the Motor War Car had a long production time and on account of troubles, including a gearbox wrecked by a street accident , the vehicle was not wrapped up by Vickers until 1902 when the Boer War was finished.

It was an improvement of Simms' prior plan for an "engine scout", a petroleum fueled quadricycle with an automatic rifle and front iron shield. The vehicle had Vickers 6 mm thick protective layer, formed into a smash at each end and it was 8 feet wide and 10 feet high, secured by a 28 foot-long separable metal shell that to some degree looked like an upturned bathtub, fit for running on any rough surface.

The Motor War Car was fueled by a 16 strength four-chamber motor gave by the German Daimler organization, giving it a most extreme speed of around 9 miles for each hour (14.5 km/h), despite the fact that this could be expanded by 25 for every penny with the accelerator on.

The war car was topped by two snappy discharging Maxim guns and a "pom-pom", a programmed gun named for the sound it made when shot, and required four individuals to operate it. Other soldiers could also be accommodated inside it too as more space was available inside.

It really funny to see what it was to what it is now. Lots and lots of improvement over the years am sure future generations would look back at our own inventions and laugh at their physical structures

You got it right bro, by then Laser projection would be used in place of The long pointed barrels.
