In the future, electric passenger airplanes may become more environmentally friendly than trains
Electrical airplanes versus trains
In about 15-20 years time, it's expected that we'll see electrical airplanes making an entry into passenger transport.
Whereas trains need a lot on infrastructure to get from point A to point B, airplanes does not - they need only air. So assuming trains and airplanes have approximately the same carbon footprint when it comes to manufacturing these, and the same goes for airports and train station, airplanes will actually be more environment friendly than trains.
By these calculations alone, we're seeing airplanes being five times more environment friendly than trains.
But then we haven't taken into account that electrical airplanes will need new infrastructure such as power supply and charging points. This will lower the gain airplanes has on trains, but most likely not enough to have the same impact as trains.
Start using those small airports again
An additional benefit electrical airplanes will have, is that they can make more use of the smaller airports around the countryside. Today's airways transportation model is based on people driving to the large airports to catch a flight, which causes emission from cars. If they instead could drive to smaller airports closer to their home, they would probably use less energy on their total route from A to B.

I think you should write a post on your blog and letting people know that you are participating. And if you have friends on steemit, tell them that you are part of this and to vote for you. I did and got to have 200 steem for a week and it made a big difference. And the idea is that people can find you, but also the others in the contest. I linked all the posts I was doing during that time to the map post.
I only asked people to check it out in comments I already had a relationship with.
