Meet the safest cars, according to German experts

To be calm you must first of all have security to be a good driver, for that also people should be advised with experts to acquire the car that suits their needs.

The German Association of Technical Inspection (TUV, for its acronym in German) published a 'ranking' of the safest cars in the European market. To compile this list, the experts analyzed data from 10 million technical inspections performed on vehicles in the period from July 2016 to June 2017.

The final figure of the 'ranking' was calculated by choosing vehicles with a reduced history of serious faults, that is, related to the engine, transmission, chassis, suspension, brakes and exhaust systems.

As a result of the analysis, the most reliable car among the vehicles between 2 and 3 years old was the Mercedes-Benz SLK. The second place on the podium was occupied by the Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan, and the third place is shared by the Mercedes-Benz class B and the Mercedes-Benz GLK class.

In the seniority group of 4 to 5 years leads the Mercedes-Benz class B, followed by the Porsche 911, the Mazda CX-5 and the Audi Q5. According to experts, the safest vehicle between 6 and 7 years old is the Porsche 911. The list also includes other vehicles such as the Audi Q5 and the Audi TT, the Honda CR-V and the Mazda 3.
