This is awesome, look up the goldstone test nasa did with microwaves and a receiver over a mile away. In 1975!!! More efficient to send power with radio waves than through a wire, less resistance, and I'm sure they have increased the efficiency of the germanium diodes since then. 82.5% power efficiency.
Tesla was a nut, wasn't he? 100 years ahead of his time. What other advancements are they hiding for themselves?
oh yeah this is awesome see this is such a no brainer! imagine if anyone could just pick up a smartphone and not worry about the battery! the usefullness of smartphones and cellphons would TRIPLE!
We wouldnt worry about solar powered ddevices at night either (altho I like the idea of having daytime for electronic work and the night time for just relaxing and having all electronics just go into sleep mode) haha
But yeah it will be So cool when u can not have to worry about using the sun at night for solar ppwered stuff, u can just use the wifi power! we will be able to get wireless power anywhere in the world making everyone's lives better
we could Ocean Cleaning Drones to go and filter out all the plastic on earth! and they can just go forever day and night!
or drones that plant trees!
we can NOW have drones staying in the air delivering food medicine blood and water to anywhere on earth and they can drop these cellphones to allow people to communicate with the rone Airships that ccan just sit in the air and drop supplies to people in need untill eventally noone will need them anymore! But for the next few decades we can ensure that we have supply ships everywhere to just drop humanitarian supplies anywhere on earth! Imagine these things floating over africa just allowing anyone to call one up and request an airdrop of foood medicine blood or water and it just releases a drone to fly and drop a simple package so cheap that we wont CARE about it! It will make SENSE to just supply huans with these free resources for a little while to get them on their feet an we can KEEP TRACK of whose getting what to ensure noone is dependent on these airdrops oin the long run, we give them tools to get their own supply chains working
the future is VERY bright for Africa and the developing world! now is the time that EVERYTHINg changes and FAST!
