Even though Kenyans are embracing technology, electricity for charging their phones and the cost of internet is abnormally high. In rural areas, 90% of residents don't have electricity in their homes. They have to take their phones for charging in shopping centers for a fee. Something that has greatly hindered technology adoption in Kenya rural areas.
