Elon Musk talks about AI regulations. He talks about his new fleet of cars and hacking among other subjects.

Tell me what you think of this discussion? What do you think of how Elon sees the world in 10 years time? Do you believe we are going fully autonomous in only a decades time? What are your feelings on the future of A.I?

Tell me your thoughts in the comments below.

I mostly agree with everything he said, he said in about 10 years most cars produced will have self driving abilities and in 20 years most cars on the roads will be self driving. Same with AI, there is really no reason to doubt his predictions, he pretty much has access to the most advanced technologies on the planet, AI will pretty much make human labor obsolete, it is just a matter of time...

The only thing he did not talk about enough is the economics of it, I know he has said in the past in speeches/interviews that he believes that we will have to have some sort of basic income for everyone in the future... All these tech advancement are great unfortunately the way the global economy works today most people on the planet will not be able to afford nor use any of it because there will not be enough jobs for the majority of the population to earn a living wage... so unless we have some major changes to the way our economy works all these advancement wont really do much to improve peoples lives...

And so begins the modern day Hunger Games. :( Or at least for a time things might really suck for anyone that isn't a top earner. I wish we could just fast forward to Star Trek the next generation time/space/universe already. When can that happen?

I think Elon underestimates the desire people have to control their own destiny. And lawyers' ability to sue the hell out of every wreck the self-driving cars cause.

Only way this occurs within 10 yrs is if the government enforces it, which Elon seems to be a fan of. (considering his billions of worth came from government subsidies not customers, not saying he shouldn't do it, easy way to get rich for sure, but now that the U.S. is removing regulations, Elon's stock is tanking)
Notice his comments at about 30 minutes in he's talking about the rules and getting them right...Ever read Atlas Shrugged lol.

I do like some of his ideas and he's got a cool accent. But there is great technology out there that is clean energy and governments have been killing people for years once they stumble upon it. Batteries & Rockets...ughh so last century
