God has blessed every one of us in this life with the inborn ability to think and come up with great ideas but most of the times these ideas come to us and we fail to pen it which in most cases we forget about the idea that came to us.

The above is used figuratively to pass a message to us of the importance of writing down ideas that come to us, having a to-do list either on paper or a writing device.

No matter how sharp one’s brain tends to operate or how highly intelligent a person is, such a one can't be successful without writing down every idea that comes to him or her. Ideas that are not written down either detailed or in summary can be easily forgotten and some great opportunities may be lost along with it.

As a writer and a person who try to motivate people, I pen down every article topic I want to write about many days before the day I finally decide to write on that topic that I summarized some days back. Like the article you are reading now, it came some days ago but if I had stored it up in my brain alone without writing anything down then I would have forgotten about every bit of it.

That great idea that came to you as a flash, don't just keep it there in your brain but rather you should have it penned down on paper or any device that will help you remember it. Great things don’t just start big, they start from little little ideas that was penned down and a lot of thinking and rethinking was done in order to bring out the best of that little.

My friend, that your idea is looking too small to you because you have not really penned it down and to analyze it from different views and subjecting it to critical thinking. You may not see the greatness of that your idea until you take your first step of implementing that idea. It is little drops of water that form an ocean. Never under estimate that idea that has come to you because through that little idea, there might be opportunity you will meet that will take you to the next height and level of your life.
