How does one pack the perfect fire?
Well ... I was asked by Huawei South Africa to help them promote their new Huawei Mate 20 Lite phone that was release a few weeks back.
They invited a few of us to an awesome launch "fun day"/braai competition in Johannesburg just before 24 Sept (aka Heritage Day in South Africa aka "Braai Day")... and one of the tasks they put to me was to make a video on how to pack the perfect fire.
In Afrikaans "fire" == "vuur", which happens to be pronounced exactly the same way as "vier" (the Afrikaans word for the number 4).
Anyway... I thought I was quite funny when I made this video as a joke:
Why am I only sharing this with you now?
Well a) I've been out of town on a month-long road trip, and only playing catch up now... but more importantly b) I DID actually create another video with 4 different ways to pack a braai (BBQ) fire, which (as soon a @dtube uploads stop hating on me - which is hopefully in the next day or 2) will be shared here on my blog too... so this post is really a little teaser to remind you keep an eye on my blog ;-)
Do you have any recipes or ideas that you would like to see me try out? Let me know in the comments below and if I use your idea there will be a reward in it for you. I don't know what that reward is just yet... but there will be a reward, and it will be cool (public high-5's are cool, right?) ;-)
