This week, we are going to start a Special Series that is going to introduce you to the people behind #teammalaysia. @branlee87 and I will be hosting a special guest, core leader from #teammalaysia in this series and this will happen every now and then.

I was thinking that after all the support given by #teammalaysia, a question popped into my mind. Do we know WHO is behind these support? For me personally, when someone gives me support, I would love to know the person and rather than just, 'oh I've seen that person on discord or heard about that person somewhere.' Hence, this Special Series will introduce you to some of the core leaders behind #teammalaysia. The people that have been managing the #teammalaysia community. The people that goes all out to run workshops to share the good news about Steemit. The people who manages discord almost 24/7 and attend to issues by a newbie. And MAINLY, these people are very important to the growth of #teammalaysia ever since it began and have made up the core team of #teammalaysia.

Interview & Live Questions

This is where the interesting part begins. Listeners get to ask the guest questions, from how did #teammalaysia come about? How hard is it to build a community? OR even more individual questions like, who introduced them to Steemit. All these will be answered in Teh Tarik Sundays.

Introducing our FIRST guest

Meet @bitrocker2020, #teammalaysia's main lead & witness

For those of you who have not join any meetups that we've held before this, then you've never met the guy, and WOULD want to meet him. #teammalaysia is his brainchild and has ever since been going all out growing the #teammalaysia community alongside the team.

He is also our only witness in this region! OMG! What is a witness? There you go.... keep that question in mind and ask him tomorrow on Teh Tarik Sundays. A witness role is very important in maintaining the growth and ecosystem of Steemit and it is a HUGE thing. So come on over with questions regarding witness and the plans he has for #teammalaysia.

@bitrocker2020 has also been constantly giving his support to many members on the #teammalaysia discord channel. The Team Malaysia curation bot didn't just appear by it's own and there are actually many people behind the support and system of all these. Don't worry, we will slowly share how this whole community started off and to think that before it started with less than 10 Steemians.

@branlee87 and I thinks that it is a good idea to tighten the relationship of all #teammalaysia members, senior and new by hosting this Special Series especially for those who live overseas or in other states in Malaysia and are not able to join us for meetups. It is good to hear from the special guests themselves as we invite them to come on the show in many weeks to come.

What is Teh Tarik Sundays?

It is the FIRST talkshow initiated by @branlee87 and @zord189 with the support from #teammalaysia witness & lead, @bitrocker2020 exclusively for #teammalaysia members to gain exposure for their posts.

Why Teh Tarik? Because its what we Malaysians drink at a mamak stall when we hang out with friends. Here is what is going to happen on Sunday Nights :

• Everyone is invited to join the Teh Tarik voice channel on Sundays at 10:00 pm.
• Everyone is given a chance to promote a post.
• You do not need to be the author of that post as you can promote your friend's post or a very interesting post for everyone to see.
• During your sharing, the post promoted will be shared in the Kopitiam channel for everyone to see. You will also get extra exposure. Your post may even be rewarded.
• Only the Moderators and Authors are allowed to speak in the voice channel. The listeners can and should engage in the Kopitiam Text Channel.

How do I participate?

• Contact @branlee87 or @zord189 on discord to register your slots!
• The moderators will dm you when it is your turn.
• Every author will be given 1 minute to promote the post and 2 minutes for Q&A.
• Each author will have a maximum time limit of 5 minutes only.
• Post must be no older than 3 days old.
• Slot registration works on a First Come First Serve Basis. Limited Slots Every Sunday.
• Make sure you have a microphone.
• Moderators will DM you for a soundcheck an hour before the show starts.
