PETS THE UNDERRATED COMPANY
Hi steemians. Hope you are well.
Pets are such good company. Definitely nothing beats the right form of human interaction, however sometimes people find themselves a bit lonely especially during the pandemic where movement and interaction are limited.

Some people are allergic to different types of pets; some people are allergic to the fur from cats and dogs, so if one really wants a pet they can look into other types like parrots, hamsters etc. However these are not so common in Uganda.
Uganda however is blessed with lots of cattle and goats etc. I would imagine some people love their livestock so much in that they would say they are their pets. Some people even go ahead to name their cattle with human names and talk about them so fondly.
Pets are really helpful sometimes as there are instances where it was reported that that they actually saved peoples’ lives. Dogs are really good with this, as they are good at protecting young children especially if they are fond of them.

Parrots have also been reported to give some useful information as they normally repeat what people say. Haha cats are also useful as they eat rats which are such a nuisance when they infest a home.
Definitely peoples’ love for pets varies but if you find that you feel lonely in your home you can get some pets, you never know, you could make a new friend😍. If pets are not your thing that is okay to. It is better not to get one than get it and then neglect it or treat it poorly.

Pets actually need care to. They require to be fed, cleaned and if they fall sick they need to be treated to. They are a responsibility and therefore before one takes them on, one has to be sure that they are willing to care of them. As much as this sounds cliche, they do require love to.
Pets like dogs and cats can notice when they are being treated poorly and in most cases they distance themselves from people who are not nice to them.
