Food Sharing #84 - Lindeman’s Estate @ Hunter Valley with Travelgirl
Hi Everyone,
Previously I have introduced you a restaurant called Baume Restaurant but did you know that next door is actually the famous Lindeman’s Estate. The Lindeman’s brand in Australia is known for price friendly and quality of wine is great for what you are paying for. This time, we decided to try to check it out as normally we go to Piggys Peak which is my all time favourite. Like all wineries at the Hunter Valley, you are free to taste any wine you want and then purchase them to take home but at this location, you can actually sit down and enjoy your wine at this lovely location.
We arrived late afternoon so there weren’t many cars parked. But during peak hours, the car park will be full of visitors. The entry is the same as the Baume Restaurant as it is a very long complex.

Once you go in, you there is a super long bar area with a very friendly attendant. They will recommend and describe the wines to you and are welcome to taste test any of them. The best thing is you don’t need to drink it all if you don’t like it. Once we tasted a few, we decided to get one to enjoy. There are seats on the side here for people to enjoy or alternatively you are welcome to stand at the bar area as it is pretty quiet the attendant is happy for a chat. But if you are in a group of people like us, we prefer to sit on the side and chat with the wine.
In the end we were getting a bit hungry and decided to grab a quick snack and took out wine to next door - Baume Restaurant.

I love the hunter valley even though i am not a wine drinker like many :)
