During last week, while coming back from changla, and on the way to Pangong Tso, we stopped for lunch at Four Brotherhood restaurant at Kharu, Ladakh.

The place claimed to serve Indian, Chinese, Tibetan, Italian and Israeli cuisine. For a vegetarian restaurant, that's a tall claim and mostly meant Noodles, Red and White pasta and hummus.

The decor was standard for a motorway restaurant in India - plastic table and chairs and a lot of tourist buzz.

We sat down and ordered veg manchow soup, veg momos and veg noodles for everyone to share as well as fries.

The waiter was acting a bit rude for my liking in the beginning but later warmed up. Service was quick, as was expected of such a place on the highway.

Food was really good, specially the soup and momos. I was missing some meat in both the soup and momos but even otherwise, the spice was well balanced and the food felt surprisingly fresh.

Noodles were not the best, as there were way too much vegetables in it.

The fries were not from a frozen pack but actual cut potatoes, thus like fried potato from home. I actually like softer fries but that may not be everyone's preference.

On a scale of 5 I'd rate the place 3.5 and food 4.
