L'Epicerie du Metropole
This lovely French bakery is located on Ly Thai To Street, right in Sofitel Metropole Hotel Hanoi, near Angelina Bar and opposite to Con Coc Garden. Not many Vietnamese know about this bakery although L'Epicerie du Metropole is located in the heart of the capital Hanoi. This is known as the bakery that sells "The best Macaron in Hanoi", the colorful French macarons are made by the baker (artisan) to conquer the most fastidious diners.
Anyone who has eaten macarons at Ladurée or Pierre Herme in Paris will have comparisons, in terms of sponginess, sweetness and aroma, it can be said that L'Epicerie macaron is no better than Paris macarons. Is not it just that L'Epicerie does not make enough dozen macaron flavors like macarons in the capital of light alone.
Inspired by the Parisian bakery, L'Epicerie du Metropole always amazes customers with the delicious taste of pastries and chocolates combined with fresh fruits. Just eat a "Pain au chocolate", all sorrows will melt thin layers of cake and sweet chocolate.
