Serai Kayu Restaurant nasi kerabu
Today i have lunch with my friend at Serai Kayu Restaurant , this restaurant focus on local Malay dish .
Here is some of their menu or food sold at their restaurant .
For myself , i order a nasi kerabu for myself with chicken added on it.
Here is a description from wikipedia on nasi kerabu .
Nasi kerabu is a Malay rice dish, a type of nasi ulam, in which blue-coloured rice is eaten with dried fish or fried chicken, crackers, pickles and other salads. The blue colour of the rice comes from the petals of Clitoria ternatea (butterfly-pea) flowers (bunga telang) used in cooking it. The rice can also be cooked with plain white rice or rice cooked using turmeric. It is often eaten with solok lada and is also eaten with fried keropok.
I also order a cup of water . In total it cost me RM14.
Here is how it look like when done.
Here is picure around the restaurant when i am enjoying my meal.
The restaurant open only on weekdats from 9 am to 4pm .
