Hungry Nerd SteakHouse !!
Hi #tasteem this will be my first post with you guys so i hope i will get it done right for you. I have been living in the big city of Bangkok for a little while now and i thought we have some many restaurants and street foods here why not give this a go ever though i have never been much on posting or writing about foods i have looked at some of the posts on here and people are really enjoying writing about foods in there countries so it's time i show you some of our amazing foods we have here in Thailand.
I do a lot of walking around Bangkok city looking for new things to photography for my @steemit posts and normally i will make a day of it stopping for lunch at a restaurant or street vendor to have a feed and then continue on with my walk. Well i discovered Hungry Nerd Steakhouse on my walk the other day and i couldn't believe the variety of foods on the menu and the prices were really reasonable.
Normally in Bangkok you will pay a fortune for imported steaks from Australia or New Zealand and this restaurant had them at reasonable prices without having to pay a arm and a leg for them Rib-Eye , T-Bone steaks....WoW... my only concern was were they going to be the real deal so in i went.
Browsing through the menu once i was taken to my table by a very polite young chap i was so overwhelmed with the menu i honestly was confused in what to really have really i wanted it all my mouth was watering up as i was looking at each photo so i just asked the young polite chap just to bring me a Singha beer for now and give me a few minutes to decide here.
For those who love Noodles , Spaghetti with Cream Sauce, Salmon & Tobiko , spaghetti cream with salmon and ebiko sauce it's all here and many more as you can see on the menu but for my lunch i was going for the pork lion steak and dolly steak which comes with some fries and salad with the matching sauces.
So i put my order in with the young chap and as i was waiting for my lunch to come i was just having a browse around the restaurant this place was done up like in very colorful decorations that make you think you were in a Cartoon Network with the yellow, black, red, and blue colors. Comic style in both the menu and the little gimmick made you feel very comfortable. Their were corners in the shop decorated with cartoon patterns on the wall were you can have photos taken great for the kids.
This is me waiting patiently loving the atmosphere and enjoying my second Singha beer sorry i was thirsty i had already done four hours of walking :)
My meal had arrived in less then 20 minutes from when i ordered which i thought was very good timing gave me time to sit relax and enjoy my beers. As the young chap placed the meal on my table i could taste it already it smelled delicious with all the right sauces i started eating into it the dolly steak as they call it which is fillet fish was just melting in my mouth and the loin steak so tender and juicy i had made the right choice not only with the food but also with the restaurant my face was glowing with happiness.
And the young chap waitress knew i loved it...lol :)
And what did this all cost me less then $12 US including the 2 Singha beers how cool is that :)
Something i need to tell you after leaving this awesome restaurant i went and completed the rest of my walk around this area and about 5 hours later i came back for dinner at this same restuarant what does that tell you for quality and pricing this restuarant will be on top of my list for a great Aussie steak and this is what i had for dinner a nice juicy Aussie beef steak which cost me $15 US with one Singha beer.
The great thing about this restuarant is as you get of the BTS Skytrain it's just downstairs from the train station how convenient that is for me anyway. So i was done for the day and up the stairs to take the skytrain home.
