Quick Lunch at A.F.C. Corner Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Welcome to A.F.C. Corner in the Menara Alpha Condominium complex in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
This complex is right near where I live and my friend lives here. We were rushing around to change money and get some things I need for my upcoming trip to Bangkok and stopped in here quickly for a bite to eat.
I hope I will be able to come another time when we are not so rushed. The food was fresh, inexpensive and delicious, and well worth the trip.
The seating area is quite pretty and airy and looks out onto the condo swimming pools.
You can see the chicken hanging in the back right of this shot toward the kitchen. This is how I know I am in the right place!
I only had time to take a photo of the cover of the menu. The meals were all under RM 8 - $2 USD.
We both got the chicken rice. This meal comes with soup and lots of hot sauce.
We have sliced chicken over very good rice, an egg, cabbage, and cucumber.
Here is my plate and you can see my Kopi Ice too. As usual in Malaysia, the coffee was excellent and gave me a good boost of energy.
Here is how my friend eats hot sauce! She put two of the cups on her food. I put only a few drops and it was still hot!
The chicken was very moist and tender.
And my egg was perfectly runny and freshly cooked. I am used to hard eggs that have been prepared earlier on my Malaysian meals, but this is how I prefer it. The yoke mixed in rice is fantastic.
