Takeaway - Crispy Spicy Popia
This is a road side stall that's opened near Melati Utama's Petronas petrol station. Just outside of it at the corner is a stall that sells some crispy spicy popia.
Popia or Popiah is a spring roll that has vegetables and mainly sengkuang or jicama and is either deep fried or not deep fried.
This one they sell here at Popia Sira is the deep fried version and it was super crispy.
It's tossed in a sweet chili sauce so the outside is sticky but yet still crispy. It was pretty tasty.
They also serve something called Keria which is like a small donut and has a sweet cane sugar stuffing.
I don't realy like keria so I only got myself the popia for the road.

It was alright, not the best I've eaten. The highlight was the sauce and it's super crispy exterior however the filling for the spring roll wasn't great.
